Xiaomi has one of the largest and most loyal customer bases in the Indian consumer tech space. It offers tech products across a wide range of categories that go beyond smartphones, smart TVs, tablets, and notebooks. In its efforts to deliver products to customers as quickly as possible, Xiaomi has teamed up with Blinkit, the Zomato-owned instant grocery delivery platform. The goal is to help customers get their favourite Xiaomi products within 10 minutes of placing the order.
Xiaomi Announces Partnership with Blinkit
Xiaomi announced the partnership via a post on the social media platform X. It said Xiaomi products are now available on Blinkit for “ultra-fast delivery”. It added, “Experience the thrill of getting your favorite products in just 10 minutes!” to wrap up the announcement post.
Blinkit currently shows 11 different Xiaomi products available for order. These include the 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh power banks, data cables, Xiaomi Grooming Kit, 33W SonicCharge 2.0 fast charger with cable, and Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer.
The store also has listings for Xiaomi Trimmer 2C, Mi Air Purifier 3 with True HEPA Filter, and Xiaomi 4 Lite Air Purifier but these are out of stock at the of writing this.
The official announcement did not reveal the full list of Indian cities, where Xiaomi’s products will be available via Blinkit delivery. You can check for availability in your particular area by visiting the Blinkit website/application and searching for Xiaomi products.
It also goes without saying despite the 10-minute delivery claim, actual delivery time could vary based on your area and during what time of the day you place the order.
This is not the first time we have seen Xiaomi team up with Blinkit. Previously, it partnered with the instant delivery platform for delivering air purifiers in Delhi NCR last year. The delivery was limited to New Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram at that time. Blinkit was charging Rs 500 extra for delivering the Mi Air Purifier 3 as compared to Xiaomi’s store and other online sellers. Ideally users should compare Xiaomi’s tech product prices between Blinkit and other platforms before placing their order to see if there is any price difference.
Earlier this month, popular consumer tech brand boAt also announced a similar partnership with Swiggy Instamart. It gives customers an option to get their preferred boAt Bluetooth speakers and TWS earbuds almost instantly.
