The Huawei Mate 30 is a significant upgrade over its processor. The first change is with the screen which is now an AMOLED
panel that measures 6.5-inches diagonally. This screen supports the DCI-P3 color space and is even capable of HDR10 playback. This Full HD+ resolution screen also comes with an embedded fingerprint scanner. While there is only a single earpiece speaker at the front of the phone located just above the waterdrop notch, it can work in conjunction with the bottom firing speaker for a stereo effect. For protection, the front panel gets a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. The entire handset even comes with an IP53 rating for protection against water and dust.
