Lenovo Z2 Plus Details

The Lenovo ZUK Z2 is the successor to the ZUK Z1. For many the latest variant might be a toned down one but the device comes bundled with power packed features. The ZUK Z2 differs from its previous version in terms of chipset, screen and battery. There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button.
The ZUK Z2 flaunts a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display that is paired with awesome viewing angles and simultaneously reproduces vibrant and crisp colours. The screen on the smartphone can be viewed without any fuss even in the most demanding situations. However, similar to the ZUK Z1, the Z2 also misses Corning's Gorilla Glass protection.
The smartphone hosts an array of connectivity options that helps you remain connected to your near and dear ones every time. Connectivity options on the Lenovo ZUK Z2 include 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and a microUSB 3.1 Type-C reversible port. The smartphone draws its power from a non-removable Li-Ion 3,500 mAh battery which is enough to keep the device functioning with heavy usage. The battery also supports fast charging courtesy Quick Charge 3.0. Users can expect to charge the smartphone up to 83% in just 30 minutes.
The imaging section undergoes minor alteration as the ZUK Z2 sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/1.8 lens. The rear camera supports features like HDR, panorama, phase detection, etc. One can also capture Full HD videos using the primary shooter. In low light users needn't worry as the smartphone also has an LED flash to aid in such conditions. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that helps you capture selfies and make video calls.
The major difference in the ZUK Z2 is its chipset. The device is powered by a 2.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood that is designed to eke out flawless performance. You can also enjoy high-end games as the device also comes with Adreno 530 GPU. The device is also designed to provide effortless and lag-free multitasking as the chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM. For storing apps and media files there is 32GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded via a microSD card.
The Lenovo ZUK Z2 is a power-packed smartphone that certainly packs a punch when it comes down to hardware. Bundled with lots of attractive features the device is expected to do well in the smartphone market.

Is the camera quality and performance better than honor 6x and Moto G5s plus?
The Lenovo Z2 Plus features a 13MP camera with Samsung made an ISOCELL sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Meanwhile, the Honor 6X features a 12MP primary camera made using Sony's IMX386 image sensor, and the Moto G5 Plus has a 12-megapixel camera made using Sony IMX 362 image sensor with f/1.7 aperture. Despite considering all these specs, the camera of Lenovo Z2 Plus may be capable of shooting even 4K videos, but the image quality is not up to the mark. Honor 6X provides an option or two to enjoy the twin camera mode but can't cough up impressive images. Out of these three, only Moto G5 Plus is the only reliable phone when it comes to clicking images and expecting an above average image.

How is the RAM performance of this mobile?
Hithr! Z2 has an average RAM management I would suggest you go to for Redmi Note 4 (4GB variant) or Honor 6X (4GB variant). If in the budget, then go for Moto G5 Plus( 4GB variant). The reason I am saying no to Zuk Z2 is, it will no more get any upgrades. UI is not so good and also the camera in low light is quite average. And also the phone cases of Zuk Z2are not easily available. As a result a big crack in my phone screen cost me nearly about 8ks INR. Buy a Rugged case not a fashionable back cover phone Redmi, Honor or Moto from good brands like Spigen or nillkin.

How is the sound quality of this phone, is it good or bad?
The Lenovo Z2 Plus has a tinny-sounding speaker, which means it appears that the audio is coming through the metallic container. It may be loud enough for your liking but may induce fatigue, if you continue to listen to music over the speakers for a prolonged duration. However, the audio quality through the headphone jack is quite crisp and pleasant. So, if you want to buy it just for audio through earphones/headphones, it is good. Otherwise, not so much.

Can I use Lenovo P2 charger for Lenovo Z2 plus as fast charger?
The Lenovo Z2 Plus doesn't support Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging standard. So even if you use the P2's fast charger, it will still charge at the same rate as the Z2 Plus is designed. The smart cut-off mechanism will stop charging the battery once it reaches 100 percent. Unfortunately Z2 Plus doesn't support the QC standard fast charging, so none of the fast chargers would be effective.

you will need a Type-C cable. But you will need to use genuine Z2 Plus charger for fast charging.

What is ambient light?
The ambient light technology uses sensors to measure the amount of light present in the given situation (room) and adjusts the brightness accordingly. For example, if we go to a dark room the ambient light sensor increases the brightness, and thus we can see better in the dark.
