LYF Water 8 is the latest mobile from Reliance that makes its mark with attractive features at a budget price point. One of the most intriguing features of the smartphone is that it comes with two LED flash; one at the back and one at the front.

On the design front, the Water 8 features a metal rim sandwiched between glass and plastic. One of the major attractive points of the device is that it comes with an impressive 13-megapixel rear shooter that is paired with an LED flash to capture images and record videos in both dark and bright conditions. One can expect amazing selfies in low light environments as well courtesy a 5-megapixel front shooter coupled with an LED flash.

You can expect decent performance as the device is equipped with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset. You can also expect to indulge in smooth and lag-free multitasking courtsey 3GB of RAM. On its face, the Water 8 boasts a 5-inch HD IPS LCD screen that is combined with good viewing angles. The screen is protected from any unwanted scratches as it has a coating of Corning's Gorilla Glass.

For storing essential apps and other data like music, videos, images, etc. there is 16GB of onboard storage space which as per user requirement can be expanded further via a microSD card. The device runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box. 

To keep users connected, the smartphone ships with an array of connectivity options including 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and a microUSB 2.0 port. It is fuelled by a Li-Po 2,600 mAh cell that is expected to last for an entire day for a normal to heavy user.
