We recently obtained exclusive inside information that Nokia 8.2 could be Nokia’s first device with a pop-up camera. The HMD Global-backed brand already has a hole-punch design in the mould of the Nokia X71 which has not been released in international waters yet. Pop-up cameras have been in vogue this year with almost all Chinese manufacturers using the mechanical module in their smartphones. Nokia has not used one to date. Besides that, the source also stated that the front camera would be a 32MP sensor which has been seen on the likes of Vivo and OPPO phones recently. Furthermore, the device will be loaded with Android Q and be equipped with 8GB of RAM
and 256GB of onboard storage. Now, there’s no information on the possible release date of this device, but considering it will run Android Q, it should be after Google kicks off the stable phase of Android 10.0 sometime in August.
