Pros

An attractive design in a strong casing which is water splash-resistant. The screen is good for most tasks, thanks to its size, sharpness, and brightness. The fingerprint reader is fast and cameras are high-quality for the price. There are modern connectivity features and the battery lasts more than a day on a single charge. There's 18W fast charging, too.

Cons

There's no 4K video recording. MIUI can sometimes push too many promotional notifications/ads.

Verdict

The Redmi Note 7S is the perfect phone under Rs 10,000 price segment (after discounted pricing). It has a modern and attractive design, complete with Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and the rear, and water splash-resistant design. Its 48MP camera clicks excellent stills even in low-light conditions, at least for the price. Its performance is fast enough for gaming and day-to-day tasks, and its battery life is more than a day. MIUI software offers dozens of important features. Its connectivity features are all modern, too, including gigabit Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C port. The only thing that I can think of it missing is 4K video recording.
