Canon India has expanded its business imaging portfolio with the launch of the imageFORCE C3150 A3 colour multifunction device alongside the imageFORMULA DR-C340 and DR-C350 document scanners. The new lineup targets enterprises, SMEs, government organisations, and commercial print environments with a focus on high-speed printing and document digitisation.
The imageFORCE C3150 supports colour print speeds of up to 50 pages per minute and introduces Canon's D² Exposure Technology, which uses an OLED-based exposure system instead of conventional laser technology. Canon says the new system is designed to deliver sharper text, improved colour consistency, and higher detail reproduction for commercial print workloads.
Canon imageFORCE C3150 Features
The imageFORCE C3150 delivers resolution of up to 4,800 x 2,400 dpi using Canon's OLED exposure system. According to the company, the technology enables more accurate alignment of CMYK layers for stable colour reproduction across repeat print jobs.
The device supports media weights of up to 300 gsm and SRA3 sheet sizes, allowing businesses to produce brochures, flyers, and promotional materials in-house. Canon has also included single-pass duplex scanning with speeds of up to 270 images per minute. Canon says the MFD is designed for high-volume business environments where print consistency, colour accuracy, and workflow efficiency are critical.
Alongside the MFD, Canon has launched the imageFORMULA DR-C340 and DR-C350 compact document scanners. The DR-C340 supports scanning speeds of up to 40 pages per minute and 80 images per minute, while the DR-C350 offers up to 50 pages per minute and 100 images per minute.
Both scanners feature a 100-sheet automatic document feeder and support document types including receipts, ID cards, passports, and long-format documents. Canon says the scanners are aimed at sectors such as government, healthcare, finance, hospitality, and education. The compact design is intended for branch offices and front-desk environments where space is limited.
Canon imageFORCE C3150 Availability
Canon has not yet disclosed pricing or availability details for the imageFORCE C3150 and imageFORMULA DR-C340/350 scanners in India.
Toshiaki Nomura, President & CEO of Canon India, said the launches reflect the company's focus on expanding its business imaging portfolio and strengthening its presence across key enterprise segments. The imageFORCE C3150's OLED-based exposure system is the most interesting part of this launch because it moves beyond the traditional laser approach used in most commercial MFDs. If Canon can deliver consistent colour performance and competitive running costs at scale, the new platform could stand out in India's growing in-house commercial print market.
