Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 FE in India at ₹79,999, adding an Exynos 2500-powered model to its S26 lineup. The phone is the first in the series to ship with Android 17-based One UI 9 and brings new video recording tools, updated Galaxy AI features and support for up to seven generations of OS upgrades.
The Galaxy S26 FE also packs a 120Hz AMOLED display, a dedicated 3x telephoto camera and wireless charging. Here’s a look at its India pricing, launch offers and specifications.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE: Price and Launch Offers
The Galaxy S26 FE is priced at ₹79,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Samsung has announced three colour options for India: Pistachio, Blueberry and Graphite.
Buyers can choose from the following launch offers:
- Exchange offer: Up to ₹8,000 upgrade bonus on exchanging an old device.
- NBFC financing: Up to 30 months of no-cost EMI through select NBFC partners, bundled with an additional ₹3,000 upgrade bonus.
- Bank cashback: ₹7,000 cashback on eligible bank cards.
- Bank EMI: A 12-month no-cost EMI option.
- Samsung eStore: An 18-month bank EMI option for purchases through Samsung’s online store.
These offers are mutually exclusive, and buyers can select only one option. Samsung’s announcement does not describe the 18-month eStore EMI option as a no-cost plan.

The Galaxy S26 FE uses Samsung’s 3nm Exynos 2500 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM. It measures 7.4mm in thickness, weighs 193g, and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Samsung is putting particular emphasis on video features. My FanCam lets users select a person and automatically keeps them centred in the video as they move, which could be useful when recording a performance or someone on the move. Super Steady with Horizontal Lock is designed to keep footage level while filming, while Photo Assist supports image edits through natural language prompts.
The updated Now Brief adds customisable cards for information such as weather and wellness updates, including the option to create cards using a prompt. Circle to Search can now look up multiple items in an image at once, while Nudge provides contextual suggestions across supported apps and notifications. Availability of individual AI features will depend on software updates and regional rollout.
Gemini Omni supports creating and editing video clips using photos and videos from the Gallery. Samsung is including a six-month Google AI Pro trial with 5TB of cloud storage for eligible users.
Samsung claims the 4,900mAh battery can reach up to 69% charge in around 30 minutes using a 45W adapter under laboratory conditions. The phone also supports 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare for charging compatible devices.
Should you upgrade to the S26 FE?
At ₹79,999, the Galaxy S26 FE costs ₹14,000 more than the Galaxy S25 FE’s 8GB/256GB variant did at launch. Several specifications carry over from the S25 FE, with Samsung placing more emphasis this time on the Exynos 2500, One UI 9 and video features such as My FanCam.
For buyers upgrading from an older phone, the S26 FE brings those additions alongside a telephoto camera, wireless charging and long software support. The S25 FE is still worth keeping in the comparison, though, with the final price gap likely to play a part in which one makes more sense.
