Samsung has opened registrations in India for its upcoming 2026 Vision AI television lineup ahead of the official launch later this month. The company says customers can now register interest for the new televisions through Samsung's website and retail outlets between May 12 and May 25.
Samsung is also offering an early-bird benefit of up to ₹10,000 on select models for users who register before sales begin.
Vision AI Is Becoming Central to Samsung's TV Strategy
The bigger story here is Samsung's continued push to position AI as a core part of the television experience rather than just an add-on feature. The company says its 2026 lineup will expand Vision AI Companion (VAC) features across its 4K UHD and above television portfolio, bringing AI-powered capabilities to more screen sizes and price segments.
While Samsung has not yet detailed the full feature set for the India lineup, the broader Vision AI push signals how television brands are increasingly trying to differentiate themselves through software intelligence alongside display hardware. AI is now being used not just for picture and sound optimisation, but also for content recommendations, smart home integration, personalised viewing, and real-time scene analysis.
This also comes at a time when competition in the premium television segment is intensifying in India. Brands including Sony, LG Electronics, and TCL are increasingly pushing AI-led picture processing, gaming enhancements, and ultra-large screen experiences as consumers move beyond traditional television upgrades.
Samsung Continues to Push Premium and Large-Screen Growth
Samsung says it has remained the global No.1 television brand for 20 consecutive years, driven largely by its premium and ultra-large screen portfolio alongside AI-focused innovation.
That aligns with a larger trend visible in the Indian TV market as well, where demand is gradually shifting toward bigger screen sizes, higher refresh rates, and more connected entertainment ecosystems. Premium features that were once restricted to flagship televisions are now steadily trickling down into mainstream 4K categories, making AI-led software experiences a new battleground for brands.
Samsung is expected to reveal more details about the 2026 Vision AI lineup, including specifications, pricing, and screen sizes, closer to launch later this month.
