Hardware and Specifications
Xolo Q1000 Opus is a new Android Operating System based smartphone from Xolo that has been announced post Xolo's partnership with Broadcom. The phone supports Dual-SIM functionality and is powered with a Broadcom 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Cortex A7 processor. In terms of storage, the device has 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB internal memory which could be further expanded upto 32 GB using micro SD card.
Screen and Design
The screen on the device will be 5" large (diagonally) with FWVGA resolution (854x480 pixels) and will have a pixel density of about 296 PPI. Design wise, the phone doesn't seem to be having any substantial change from its earlier siblings and will inherit the design and looks from other Xolo smartphones.
Camera and Multimedia
Though the detailed specifications of the phone has not been announced by the device manufacturer yet, we believe the phone will have a 8 MP primary auto-focus camera on the rear of the phone alongside a 3 MP secondary camera on the front for video calling and other similar usage. The device should also be capable of playing common multimedia formats including, but not limited to, MP3, MP4, WAV, AAC, AVI, etc.
Software and Features
Xolo Q1000 Opus will run on Android Jellybean 4.2 Operating System and will come with other common applications pre-loaded which includes Google Search, Gmail, Hangouts, Image/Video Editor, Document reader, etc. Connectivity features of the phone includes GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and Micro-USB 2.0.
Battery and Connectivity
The Xolo Q1000 Opus will feature a 2000 mAh battery which should be good enough to keep the device powered for an entire day with moderate usage. Connectivity options of the device includes GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and USB v2.0.
