Xiaomi has confirmed the Redmi Note 11S India launch date. The upcoming Redmi Note 11 series smartphone will launch in India on February 9. Xiaomi took to its social media accounts to confirm the launch date of the new Redmi smartphone in India. The budget smartphone will be the second smartphone of the Redmi Note 11 series in India.

Redmi Note 11S launch in India is set to take place on February 9. Redmi India has also teased the device’s design, which reveals the Blue colour option and a flat frame. The device has a quad-camera setup on the back. The camera module also houses the LED flash inside.

As per rumours, the Note 11S will feature a 108MP main camera. This could be the same ISOCELL HM2 sensor found on the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. The device will also come with an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide sensor, a 2MP OmniVision OV2A macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

While the teaser post does not reveal the Redmi Note 11S’ display, recently leaked design renders show a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The phone is said to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate as well. It will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Note series phone will draw power from a MediaTek processor. According to a Moneycontrol report, this could be the Helio G96 chipset. The phone is also said to run Android 11 out of the box with a layer of MIUI 12.5 on top.

Other details of the Note 11S include a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device is also expected to come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
