Acer Swift Go 14 Launched With Intel Core Ultra Processor For Enhanced AI Capabilities

Acer has debuted its Swift Go 14 laptop with Intel’s new Core Ultra processor, which will enable an efficient computing performance of AI workloads. The new Intel Core Ultra processors feature the company’s Arc graphics processing unit (GPU) and its new integrated neural processing unit (NPU) AI Boost.

Apart from Acer, companies like Lenovo, Samsung, and ASUS have also announced their laptops with Intel’s flagship Core Ultra processor. These include the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 series, Lenovo Ideapad Pro 5i, ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED, and Samsung Galaxy Book 4 lineup.

Acer Swift Go 14: Price And Availability

Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-72) comes in several configurations with up to Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor. The Intel Evo Edition platform-verified laptop will be available in North America in January 2024 and EMEA in December.

The price for the laptop in North America starts at USD 799.99 (approximately Rs 66,400). The price in the EMEA market starts at EUR 1199, which is around Rs 1,08,516 on conversion.

Acer Swift Go 14: Features

Acer Swift Go 14 laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, which gives its users access to a slew of AI features like Acer PurifiedVoice and Acer PurifiedView for videoconferencing and customization tools. The laptop runs Windows 11.

The laptop is said to offer performance enhancements, thanks to features like instant wake, fast charging, and an extended battery life of up to 12.5 hours. The Intel Unison allows users to their Windows 11 PC to be paired with Android or iOS devices for file transfers, calling, messaging, etc.

Acer Swift Go 14 features a 14-inch OLED display with a 2.8K resolution (2880×1800). The variant with a WUXGA (1920×1200) display with touchscreen capabilities will be available as well. Other features of the screen include 100% DCI-P3, VESA Display HDR True Black 500 certification, and a 90 Hz refresh rate.

The laptop includes an OceanGlass touchpad, which the company says has been expanded by more than 44 percent as compared to previous generations for a larger scrolling surface.

Acer Swift Go 14 sports a 1440p QHD webcam. It integrates AI-supported technology such as the company’s PurifiedVoice to remove unwanted background noises and PurifiedView for automatic framing, gaze correction, and more. Acer’s AlterView technology takes advantage of AI-generated depth maps to convert 2D images into animated wallpapers with 3D effects.

Ports on the Swift Go 14 include two USB Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD slot. Connectivity options include Intel Wi-Fi 6E and Intel Bluetooth LE Audio. The laptop has an aluminum chassis design and it weighs around 1.32 kg. It is 14.9 mm thick.
