Vedam (2010)

Directed by Krish, the story revolves around the five main characters of the movie, Vivek Chakravarthy, who is a rock star by profession, Saroja who is a prostitute, Ramulu is an old man living in his village with his widowed daughter-in-law and her son, Rahim a Muslim man, and Anand Raj who is an educated person belonging from a middle-class family. The story of the movie flows when each of the five characters comes under one roof in a hospital where they fight off the terrorists where Vijay and Raj manage to kill two of the terrorists but get killed by other terrorists when they try to protect the lives of other people. Arya (2004)

Directed by Sukumar, the movie’s story revolves around the life of a girl named Geetanjhali, also known as Geeta, who goes to a college in Vishakhapatnam and is one of the most beautiful girls in the college. When Ajay, a spoilt son of the local MP Avataram, lays his eyes on Geeta, he proposes to her and asks her to be his girlfriend. After Geeta refuses his proposal, Ajay threatens that he will commit suicide if she says no; after listening to this, Geeta accepts his proposal and agrees to be his girlfriend. Arya, who is a fun-loving guy, falls in love with Geeta but doesn’t try to woo her as she is already in a relationship with Ajay.

When Ajay introduces Geeta to his father, he turns the tables when he introduces a girl named Lalasa, who he wants his son to marry. With Arya’s help, Ajay and Geeta decide to elope and end up at Arya’s village. When they wake up the next day, Arya sees that Ajay is missing, who later returns with his father, who changes his decision and lets Ajay and Geeta marry. Geeta had spent enough time to notice that Arya loves her, and she falls for him too. Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 (2021)

Directed by Sukumar, the story of the movie revolves around the life of a labour named Pushpa, who works for a small slum and wishes to become a big person in life. However, his passion and dreams are always condemned by his stepbrother, who feels that Pushpa is not the actual child of his father and only uses his name for his own benefit. Pushpa smuggles illegal red sanders to different countries.

She is always closely watched by DSP Govindappa, who he manages to bluff and continues to smuggle, which impresses the Reddy brothers, and they ask Pushpa to work for them. However, after he falls in love with Srivelli, he changes his lifestyle and leads a life free of crime with her. His marriage with her is unfortunately called off when his stepbrother meddles. Arya 2 (2009)

Directed by Sukumar, the story of the movie revolves around the lives of two orphans, Ajay and Arya, who become friends at an orphanage. When Ajay is adopted by a rich family, Arya is left alone. As they grow up, Ajay goes on to become a businessman and an owner of an IT company. After an unfortunate event, Ajay agrees to make Arya his business partner if Arya changes his behaviour and becomes series for his work. Arya agrees, and becomes a hardworking person and a great businessman.

Both Ajay and Arya fall for Geeta, who has recently joined the company. Arya tries to woo her, but Geeta keeps her distance when she learns about his true identity. She proposes Ajay, and Arya helps them to get married. However, when Geeta is kidnapped by her father on the day of her wedding, who wants her daughter to marry the son of Kashi Reddy, Arya tries to get her back. His father agrees to release Geeta if Arya agrees to marry her. When they both get married, Arya takes Geeta to Ajay and asks them to elope. Race Gurram (2014)

Directed by Surender Reddy, the movie’s story revolves around the lives of two brothers, Ram Prasad, and Lucky Prasadh, who are considered poles apart. Ram is an honorable ACP keen on exposing the politician Shiva Reddy whereas Lucky is the family’s black sheep. When Lucky meets a girl named Spandana, who shows no emotions and does not react to anything, he falls for her, and Spandana falls for him too. Julayi (2012)

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the story of the movie revolves around the life of a robber named Bittu who plans to rob the bank and rob Rs 1500 crore with the help of his friend. Ravi Narayana, who aspires to earn money, quickly meets with Bittu and bets on an IPL match. After the police raid the location where the betting took place, Ravi is arrested, which gives Bittu ample time to rob the back, who gives the money to his brother Lala to take it to the city’s dumping yard. When Bittu finds out that they money was burnt and his brother was also killed, he plans to seek revenge on Ravi. Many events occur between Ravi and Bittu, who try to fight off and win the money. Happy (2006)

Directed by A. Karunakaran, the movie’s story revolves around the life of Madhumathi, the daughter of a politician Surya, who sends her away to keep her away from his lifestyle. Madhumathi goes to college to get her degree in MBBS, and when she is away at a medical camp, she meets with Bunny, who she loves to spend her time. However, Surya thinks his daughter is having an affair with Bunny and decides to marry her to DCP Arvind. Madhumathi gets furious and blames Bunny for the cause of her marriage, which came in between her studies. Bunny confronts Arvind and tells him he is in love with her. Listening to this, Arvind calls off the marriage. Arvind decides to marry Bunny and Madhumathi and loves them to his new flat. When Madhumathi cannot afford to pay for her semester fees, she tells about it to Bunny, and Bunny helps her get a job ad a stuntman in the film industry which could also endanger his life. Parugu (2008)

Directed by Bhaskar, the movie’s story revolves around the life of Neelakanta, who can go to any extent to protect his daughters Subbalakshmi and Meenakshi. After Subbalakshmi elopes with her boyfriend Errababu, Neelakanta, along with his men go on a quest to find them and also find his friends who helped them to elope. After Neelakanta abducts Errababu’s friends Krishna and one other, they are held hostage in the basement of their main house. Krishna falls in love with Neelakanta’s younger daughter Meenakshi as soon as he lays his eyes on her. After Subba Lakshmi’s love letter from Errababu is accidentally left with Krishna and his friends, Meenakshi tries to get them back. However, things go south when Krishna and his friends are mercilessly beaten by Neelakantha’s men, after which, to save his friend’s life, Krishna lies and tells them that Subbalakshmi is in Hyderabad. Not knowing that they are actually in Hyderabad, Neelakanta along with Meenakshi and Krishna and his friends, goes to Hyderabad. After Krishna saves Meenakshi from the goons trying to molest her, Neelakanta gains his trust. Meenakshi starts to like Krishna but does not confess. After Subbalakshmi threatens to report his actions to police, Neelakanta releases them and let them go. After they return back, Neelakanta plans Meenakshi’s wedding to which Krishna is also invited. Krishna comes back to win her love and confronts Neelakanta about the same. After realizing how much Krishna cares about her daughter, he gets them married and they both live happily.

S/O Satyamurthy (2015)

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the movie’s story revolves around the life of Satyamurthy’s son Viraj, who has left behind Rs 300 crore of property, which is of no use to him as Satyamurthy also owes the same amount. Viraj’s advisor Sambasiva Rao gives him the advice to file for bankruptcy, which Viraj refuses. Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India (2018)

Directed by Vakkantham Vamsi, the story of the movie revolves around the life of an Indian soldier named Surya who aspired to be posted at the LOC one day. However, his dreams are shattered after he gets involved in a club fight and attack another Inspector and uses it to kill a terrorist, after which he is suspended for misconduct. However, he is given one more chance to make everything right and he must control his anger issues in order to serve in the Indian Army again and get posted at the LOC. It is interesting to see how he hides his anger and works on himself to get a certificate from his psychologist that will enable his suspension to end. However, despite of facing many obstacles along the way, Surya works through his anger issues and a few months later can be seen hoisting the Indian Flag at the border.

Yevadu (2014)
