Apple has finally has announced the launch of its latest range of iPhones during its Hi-Speed event. The company has introduced the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 during the launch event. All the new iPhones come with 5G connectivity, making them the first batch from the company to feature the latest networks. This is also for the first time, Apple has introduced four new iPhone models during a launch event. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest iPhone 12 series.

Apple iPhone 12 series pricing details

The Apple iPhone 12 Mini price starts at $699, while the iPhone 12 comes with a price tag of $799. As for the Indian pricing is concerned, the iPhone 12 Mini India price starts at Rs 69,900, while the iPhone 12 price starts at Rs 79,990. iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models. iPhone 12 will be available in India, South Korea, and more than a dozen other countries and regions beginning Friday, October 30th.

The Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini come with a flat design, which is similar to the iPhone 4. The phones are available in Black, White, Red, Green and Blue colour options. The iPhone 12 features a 6.1-inch display Super Retina XDR display, which 11 per cent thinner and 15 per cent smaller than the iPhone 11. The iPhone 12 comes with 468ppi pixel density.

The Apple iPhone 12 Mini comes with 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR display. Apart from this, both of them comes with similar features. The latest iPhone comes with new Ceramic Shield, which is more durable than the other Corning Gorilla Glass protection. This makes the iPhone more durable and the company says it has 4x better drop performance as compared to previous generations.

The iPhone 12 comes with a new 5G antenna and the brand says that it has most 5G bands found in any smartphone. Phone 12 models also feature Smart Data mode, which extends battery life by intelligently assessing 5G needs and balancing data usage, speed, and power in real-time.

The latest iPhone comes with the latest Apple A14 Bionic chipset, which is the first chipset build on 5nm process. The new six-core CPU and GPU are 50 per cent faster than any other smartphone chipset. The chipset comes with new 16 cores neural engine for enhanced performance along with 70 per cent faster MIL accelerations.

Coming to cameras, it features 12MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture along with 12Mp wide lens with f/1.6 aperture OIS and 7P lens. The company claims that it offers better low light performance along with enhanced Smart HDR 3 mode. One can now use the Night Mode from the selfie shooter and all the two rear cameras. The latest devices come with Deep Fusion that works on all cameras including TrueDepth, Wide, and Ultra Wide.

The latest iPhone comes with a new MagSafe wireless charging solution and accessories. The company has revealed that the iPhone 12 will not come bundled with earphones and power adapter, though it will come with USB-C to Lightning port cable.
