Robot vacuum cleaners are no longer a niche gadget in India. More brands are entering the segment, prices are dropping at the entry level, and this week’s deals show that spread clearly, from a sub-Rs 13,000 budget option to a premium Dreame model going at a steep discount. We’ve also thrown in a Dyson cordless vacuum deal that doesn’t fit the robot category but is too good to leave out. Here’s a look at what’s on offer.
Milagrow Seagull
Milagrow is one of the Indian brands that has been selling robotic cleaning products for several years. The Seagull 2025 is currently available for Rs 12,990, down from its listed MRP of Rs 34,990.
The Seagull stands out for its slim 2.8-inch design, which allows it to get under furniture and reach tighter spaces. It also comes with a 650ml dustbin and a 110ml water tank. The robot uses gyro mapping to navigate around the house and follows an S-shaped cleaning pattern.
For cleaning, it offers Auto, Edge and Spot modes. Its BLDC motor provides up to 3,000Pa suction, with a dirt detection sensor that can increase suction from 1,200Pa to 3,000Pa when it detects pet hair or stubborn dirt. There is also a HEPA filter and a microfiber mop for wet cleaning.
The Seagull supports tiles, concrete, glass, wooden and carpeted floors, while iBoost technology increases cleaning power when extra dirt is detected on carpets. It also has fall detection, obstacle detection and automatic return-to-charge functionality.
At Rs 12,990, the Seagull is the most affordable option in this list. It makes the most sense for buyers who want basic robotic vacuuming and mopping without spending much on advanced navigation or a self-emptying dock.
Narwal Freo X Plus 2-in-1
Narwal is known for focusing on robotic cleaning systems, and the Freo X Plus brings several features usually associated with more premium robot vacuums. It is currently available for Rs 18,990 against an MRP of Rs 35,999.
The Freo X Plus offers 7,800Pa suction and uses dust compression technology that can store dust and debris for up to seven weeks. This can reduce how often the dust needs to be manually emptied.
Navigation is another major feature here. The robot uses Tri-Laser navigation, obstacle avoidance and LiDAR SLAM 4.0 to map its surroundings. It can also detect rugs and lift its mop by 8mm to keep them dry while vacuuming.
The robot can vacuum and mop in one pass, with its mops applying 6N of pressure for wet cleaning. It also supports Google Home, Alexa and Siri, allowing users to control it through compatible voice assistants.
The Freo X Plus looks like a strong middle-ground option in this list. At Rs 18,990, you get considerably higher suction and more advanced navigation than the Milagrow Seagull, along with dust storage and smart-home integration.
Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2
Dreame has become a recognised name in the robot vacuum segment, particularly for models with advanced navigation and automated cleaning features. The D10 Plus Gen 2 is currently listed at Rs 23,499, compared with the provided MRP of Rs 1,79,999.
The biggest advantage of this model is its self-emptying system. It comes with a 4-litre dust bag that can provide up to 90 days of hands-free dust disposal, reducing the need for frequent manual emptying.
The D10 Plus Gen 2 also offers 6,000Pa Vormax suction with four adjustable levels. Its movable rubber brush is designed to reduce hair tangles while picking up dust from carpets and hard floors. It supports both vacuuming and mopping, with adjustable moisture levels.
For navigation, the robot uses Smart LiDAR and Pathfinder technology to map the home and avoid obstacles. It also supports multi-floor mapping, no-go zones and virtual boundaries through the Dreamehome app.
If hands-free maintenance is important, the D10 Plus Gen 2 is the most feature-heavy option among these deals. Its self-emptying system and LiDAR mapping make it a more complete package, although it is also the most expensive deal in this list.
Croma AV5005
Croma brings a more affordable alternative with its AV5005 robotic vacuum cleaner. It is currently available for Rs 14,999, down from an MRP of Rs 30,000.
The robot offers 4,000Pa suction and uses a BLDC motor for consistent suction while keeping energy consumption in check. It also uses fifth-generation LDS technology for laser-based navigation and has 30 sensors for detecting obstacles and adjusting its path.
The Croma model comes with multiple cleaning modes and can automatically increase suction when it detects carpets. It also supports app and voice control, giving users the option to control cleaning remotely.
A 5,200mAh battery allows for longer cleaning sessions, while the robot can automatically return to its charging station when the battery is low. It also has a washable dust collector for easier maintenance.
The Croma AV5005 sits between the Milagrow and Narwal in terms of price. Its 4,000Pa suction, LDS navigation, 30 sensors and app controls make it a reasonably feature-rich option at Rs 14,999.
Dyson V8 Absolute
While the other deals in this list are robot vacuum cleaners, the Dyson V8 Absolute is a cordless vacuum cleaner and offers a different approach to home cleaning. It is currently available for Rs 27,900, compared with its MRP of Rs 43,900.
The Dyson V8 Absolute has a compact and versatile design and weighs 2.6kg. It delivers 115 Air Watts of power and offers up to 40 minutes of runtime. Its 0.54-litre bin can be used for cleaning floors as well as higher surfaces, furniture, sofas, mattresses and curtains.
The vacuum is also designed for homes with pets, with a tool that automatically detangles hair. Its direct-drive cleaner head is designed for strong pick-up, while the filtration system captures allergens and expels cleaner air. Dyson also claims the vacuum is gentle on hard floors while being capable of handling tougher dirt.
The deal also includes two-year complete accidental damage protection. The Dyson V8 Absolute is not a replacement for a robot vacuum if your priority is automated daily cleaning. However, at Rs 27,900, it is worth considering for buyers who want a more versatile vacuum that can clean surfaces a robot cannot easily reach, including sofas, curtains, mattresses and high places. Its 2.6kg weight and cordless design also make it easier to move around the home compared with a traditional vacuum cleaner.
Robot Vacuum Cleaners Are Moving Beyond the Premium Segment in India
Robot vacuum cleaners were once largely considered expensive smart-home products, but the segment is now becoming more accessible. A Counterpoint Research report says India’s robot vacuum market has shifted from a niche gadget category towards a mainstream appliance segment. It also identified the Rs 20,000–Rs 35,000 range as an important volume and value segment, with features such as LiDAR navigation, AI mapping and self-emptying docks driving higher prices.
Euromonitor’s assessment also points to smart and AI-powered technology driving premiumisation in India’s vacuum cleaner market, while robotic vacuum cleaners are expected to remain the fastest-growing part of the category.
This is also reflected in the deals above. Buyers can now choose between basic robotic cleaning at around Rs 13,000, more advanced navigation and suction around Rs 19,000, and premium features such as self-emptying and multi-floor mapping at around Rs 23,500.
How These Deals Compare
These deals cover two types of cleaning. The Milagrow Seagull, Narwal Freo X Plus, Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2 and Croma AV5005 are robot vacuums designed for automated floor cleaning, while the Dyson V8 Absolute is a cordless vacuum designed for more hands-on and versatile cleaning.
At Rs 12,990, the Milagrow Seagull is the budget pick, while the Croma AV5005 adds LDS navigation, 30 sensors and 4,000Pa suction at Rs 14,999. Go for Milagrow if price is the priority, Narwal for stronger cleaning and navigation, Dreame for hands-free maintenance, and Dyson if versatility matters more than automation.
Things to keep in mind
Suction figures on the box are lab-rated and real-world performance depends a lot on floor type, carpet thickness and how well the robot’s brushes stay tangle-free with regular use. Buyers with rugs or carpets should check whether a model lifts its mop automatically, since wet mopping on carpet can cause damage. Wi-Fi compatibility is also worth checking before buying, as some models, including the Narwal here, work best on 2.4GHz networks rather than 5GHz.
Finally, spare parts such as mop pads, brushes and filters are a recurring cost with any robot vacuum, so it’s worth checking their availability and pricing for a brand before committing. For the Dyson, keep in mind it’s a corded-free stick vacuum, not a robot, so it still needs someone to walk it around the house, and its 40-minute run time may not be enough for very large homes in a single charge.
