Sony has launched its latest ULT Tower 10 party speaker, ULT Field 7 and ULT Field 1 portable wireless speakers, and ULT Wear wireless noise-cancelling headphones in India. All these devices come with the new “ULT button,” which is said to enhance the music listening experience thanks to multiple sound modes. Here’s everything you need to know about.

All these devices are now available in India online at the ShopatSC website and select e-commerce platforms. In the offline market, the newly launched ULT devices are available at Sony Centre, Sony Exclusive stores, and select electronic stores.
Interestingly, as part of its introductory offer, the company is providing cashback incentives of Rs 6,000 and Rs 3,000 on specific bank cards for those buying the Sony ULT Tower 10 and ULT Field 7.
Sony ULT Tower 10: Features
The Sony ULT Tower 10 is a party speaker that is said to provide 360 sound along with lights to ‘light up’ the party in a literal sense. It also flaunts this new ULT button for extra bass and comes with a wireless mic for karaoke. You can plug in a guitar to use it as an amp or connect the speaker to a TV for a better sound output. According to the company, the speaker adjusts the sound based on the noise around you.
Sony ULT Field 7: Features
The ULT Field 7 is a portable party speaker, unlike the ULT Tower 10. However, just like its bigger sibling, it also uses Sound Field Optimization technology and works with mics for karaoke and a guitar. It also features a dedicated ULT button for switching between two modes: ULT1 for deep bass and ULT2 for a punchy effect. According to the company, the ULT Field 7 supports fast charging and provides three hours of playtime with just a 10-minute charge. It’s also IP67-rated for water and dust resistance.
Sony ULT Field 1: Features
The ULT Firld is another portable speaker with a built-in mic for taking calls. According to the company, it has an echo-cancelling mode that gets rid of background noise during calls. It is also said to last up to 12 hours on a single charge. Plus, it’s rated IP67, which makes it shockproof and salt-water resistant.
Sony ULT Wear: Features
The ULT Wear is a set of wireless headphones with Sony’s “Dual Noise Sensor“ technology, using a built-in processor to improve noise cancellation. Much like the Field 7, these headphones have two Bass modes: ULT1 for deep bass and ULT2 for a punchier sound.
Furthermore, these headphones automatically pause music when taken off and support multipoint connectivity. According to Sony, these headphones can last up to 30 hours with noise cancellation on and up to 50 hours without it on a single charge. Plus, they also support fast charging, and just three minutes of charging can give you up to 90 minutes of playtime.
