The much anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3 physical edition has been announced by Larian Studios. The physical version of the title is set to be released on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox in the first quarter of 2024.
The game earned widespread appreciation for its gameplay, narrative, and production quality. It received numerous awards, including the Golden Joystick Award for Game of the Year. Baldur’s Gate 3 is also nominated for Game of the Year category at The Game Awards 2023 which will fight among Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2 and more.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Physical Release Announced: All You Need to Know
The game was initially released digitally for Windows in August 2023, and later for PlayStation 5 and MacOS in September 2023.
The developers of Baldur’s Gate 3 have announced that the game will be released on Xbox in December 2023. The exact release date will be announced at The Game Awards 2023. As a result, Larian Studios is seizing the chance to create a new Deluxe Edition for all three platforms.

On November 16, Larian Studios, the developers behind the RPG title, announced Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe edition which comes with a physical copy of the game and other added content.
The Deluxe Edition of the acclaimed RPG title will be released for $79.99 (plus shipping fees based on region) and will be available for PS5, Xbox Series XS, and PC. Orders will be dispersed in Q1 2024, putting the official launch between January and April 2024. The precise date will be announced soon. It will be playable-on-disc and it will require a few discs in order to run this game. The PS5 version will include two discs, while the Xbox edition will include three discs. Meanwhile, the PC edition includes a custom installer and a Steam key.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 will include the following items:
- Baldur’s Gate Physical Game (Disc)
- World map
- 32 game stickers
- 2 patches for clothing
- Baldur’s Gate 3 Poster
- Baldur’s Gate 3 soundtrack (three discs)
- Deluxe Edition Special Box
- Digital content (soundtrack, art book, various DLC…)

The Collector’s Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 by Larian includes a number of physical goods, such as dice and Magic: The Gathering cards, but no actual discs.
Larian also stated that the playable-on-disc Baldur’s Gate 3: Deluxe version will include all of the extras found in the game’s digital deluxe version, specifically the following:

- Bard Song Pack
- Exclusive Dice Skin
- Paintings from Rivellon
- Adventurer’s Pouch
- Digital OST
- Digital Artbook
- Digital Character Sheets
The game is currently exclusively available to pre-order on Larian Store. the title got “universal acclaim” on PC and PlayStation 5 and received a massive hit in the gaming community.
The game also received seven awards at Golden Joysticks and has been nominated for eight categories at the coming Keighley’s Game Awards 2023.
