Krafton’s second official BGMI eSports tournament of the year i.e. BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 is in full swing. It is the second season of the tournament–the first season was won by the fan-favourite Team Soul. The group stage featuring 96 top BGMI teams kicked off on November 22. The intense action went on for three weeks and now, we finally have the top 16 finalists who will battle for the ultimate glory in the LAN finals. Here is everything you need to know.

BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 Group Stage Rankings

Krafton held the BMPS 2023 group stage spreading over three weeks from November 22 to December 9. It featured the top 96 BGMI teams divided into 12 groups of eight teams each. These teams clashed with each other in a round-robin format to get a spot in the top 16 teams in the overall standings.

The group stage was dominated by Team Insane as it managed to score an impressive eight Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD) out of the total 15 matches played. The team secured 328 points including 60 bonus points to win the group stage by a long margin.

Blind Esports came second with 289 points, including 60 bonus points and four chicken dinners. The reigning champions Team Soul finished fourth in the ranking with three chicken dinners and 233 points. The squad managed to secure 35 bonus points.

BMPS 2023 group stage also saw some of the big names crashing out of the tournament. GodLike Esports is the biggest name that could not qualify for the LAN finals as it ended up in the 20th spot with only 171 points and two chicken dinners. Global Esports also had a forgetful tournament as it could manage just 168 points and one chicken dinner to finish 23rd.

BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 LAN Finals Schedule

The much-awaited BMPS 2023 LAN finals will take place on December 15, 16, and 17. It will be held at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad, Gujarat where fans can also visit to watch the action live. The grand finale will also be streamed live on Krafton India Esports’ YouTube channel.

BMPS 2023 has a prize pool of Rs 1 crore where the winning team will win Rs 40 lakh. The second and third-ranked teams will get to take home Rs 20 lakhs and Rs 10 lakhs respectively. The bottom four teams will win Rs 1 lakh each. Krafton will also reward MVP of the tournament and Best IGL of the event with Rs 3 lakhs and Rs 2 lakhs respectively.
