Black Shark, a brand known for making gaming-centric smartphones, appears to be readying a third instalment in the Black Shark series of smartphones. The Black Shark 3 smartphone is reportedly going to launch soon. So far, we have received a bunch of rumoured specifications of the device. Today, we spotted the device on the 3C certification website, which suggests that the Black Shark 3 will sport up to 66W of fast charging.

As seen in the 3C certification image, the Black Shark 3 lineup (with the model numbers Shark MBU-A0 and Shark KLE-A0) has finally surfaced in the official realm as they have begun the certification journey. We have used the term lineup, because we have reasons to believe that Black Shark could be launching two devices – Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro as the third instalment. The 3C certification for the Black Shark 3 confirms that it will feature 65W of fast charging. Furthermore, the fact that the device will have 5G capability is also confirmed courtesy of the 3C certification.

Other than these two pointers, the 3C certification fails to provide any other intel on the device. That said, the Black Shark 3 is being tipped to feature a 120Hz refresh rate panel. The Black Shark is said to incorporate a dynamic resolution 2K panel. Plus, the device is likely to come in a 12GB RAM variant. The presence of LPDDR5 RAM won’t surprise anyone, given that the majority of the recent smartphones possess the same. Under the hood, the Black Shark 3 will most likely be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G platform, given that its predecessors have also been utilizing the latest offerings from Qualcomm. Still, we would suggest that our readers should take this with a pinch of salt before things become official.

As of now, this is all we know about the upcoming Black Shark 3 smartphone, but we will keep you posted, should we receive any more intel on the same.
