Black Shark, back in March 2021, launched the Black Shark 4 and the Black Shark 4 Pro handsets in the Chinese market. The Black Shark 4 made its global debut a couple of months after China Launch. The handset comes in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The base variant of the device is priced at $580/€580. While, the 12GB + 256GB variant of the smartphone costs $680/€680. It is available for purchase through Black Shark official website.

The handset flaunts a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is a 144Hz refresh rate display that supports 1300nits peak brightness and is HDR 10+ certified. The display panel also houses the optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor that is built on a 5nm fabrication process. The system on chip brings with it an integrated Adreno 660 GPU, X60 5G modem, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone boots Android 11, with JoyUI 12.5 layer on top.
The handset offers a tiple-rear camera setup and a LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 64MP shooter with an f/1.79 aperture. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120° field of view and an f/2.4 aperture. There is also a 5MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture on the 4 Pr.
