Call Forwarding Code: How to Activate Call Forwarding on Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea (Vi) and BSNL

Call forwarding is one of the easiest ways to not miss any important calls. This is also one of the most widely used features on smartphones as well as feature phones. For those who are unaware, the call forwarding feature essentially diverts the incoming call on your phone to another phone number, which you have assigned previously. This feature comes in handy in multiple situations.

The first and most useful one is when your number is not reachable. Secondly, it also comes in handy when you are busy talking to someone else on the phone. The other two call forwarding types include unconditionally call forwarding and forwarding when you do not answer the call. In this article, we will take a look at all four types of call forwarding codes and how you can activate them on Airtel, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio, and BSNL SIM cards. Apart from activating call forwarding via codes, one can also do the same in the phone’s settings. Call Forwarding Code for Airtel

Forward call when there is no answer

1. Dial **61*<desired telephone number>*, for eg: **61*07829709191*
2. Add how many seconds (in multiple of 5-seconds) you want your phone to ring for before forwarding (min = 5, max = 30)
3. Add #
4. Tap on the “call” button and wait for the screen to display the confirmation message. 

In case you want to deactivate this service, you can dial ##61#. 

Forward Call When The Number Is Not Reachable

This comes in handy when you are travelling and you lose signal on your SIM and with the help of the following code, you can forward the incoming call to another number. 

1. Dial **62*<desired telephone number>*, for eg: **61*07829709191*
2. Tap on the “call” button
3. Wait for the screen to display the confirmation message

To deactivate this service, you can call #62# 

Forward When You Are On Another Call

1. Dial  **61*<desired telephone number>*, for eg: **61*07829709191#
2. Tap on the “call” button
3. Wait for the screen to display the confirmation message

To deactivate this service, you can call #67# 

Forward For All Incoming Calls

This is for those situations where you want to forward all the calls regardless of your availability and busyness. 

1. Type **21*<desired telephone number>*, for eg: **61*07829709191#
2. Tap on the “call” button
3. Wait for the screen to display the confirmation message

To deactivate this service, you can call #21#

Forward When You Are On Another Call

2. Tap on the “call” button
3. The call forwarding facility will be activated and it will redirect to another number when you are busy.

Forward All Incoming Calls

2. Tap on the “call” button
   The call forwarding facility will be activated and it will redirect to another number when you are busy.
