Jabra Announces Updates To Elite 8 Active, Elite 10 Wireless Earbuds

The company said the initial updates to the Elite series earbuds will be available in January 2024. The updates include an easy-to-use on/off toggle for ANC, HearThrough and Sidetone features and new voice tone prompts.

The updates are said to enhance interaction and allow users to tailor their earbuds to individual preferences. The device name of earbuds can also be customised thanks to the updates.

Meanwhile, the Elite 10 users will receive an optimisation for call clarity by March 2024. This will help users hear calls more clearly in busy environments such as offices, restaurants, and busy streets. Jabra says its noise suppression algorithms are designed to identify and diminish background voices.

Jabra Elite 8 Active users will receive improvements on the Adaptive ANC. Thanks to an upgraded wind noise detection technology, paired with HearThrough, users are expected to hear sounds more clearly in windy conditions.

“Our commitment to our customers is unwavering. We actively listen to market feedback, which fuels our drive to continuously enhance user experiences. We deliver ongoing improvements throughout the lifespan of our products, so that our users always experience the best of Jabra,” Ehtisham Rabbani, Jabra Head of Consumer Products, said in a press release.

The updates will be available for free as over-the-air updates to new as well as existing users via the Sound+ app.
