Smartphone maker Realme’s new brand Dizo unveiled its first smartwatch in India today. The DIZO Watch is part of Realme’s new “TechLife” ecosystem, with which it is expected to bring an amalgamation of phones and other peripheral consumer electronics. The DIZO Watch has a 1.4 inch touchscreen display and sports IP68 certification, which makes it water and dust resistant. The company also says it will have Smart AIoT control, suggesting that it will talk to other Realme devices, and be able to control the company’s entire IoT ecosystem using the Realme Link app. It also has heart rate and SpO2 sensors, which will monitor the user’s heart activity and blood oxygen levels.

DIZO Watch features

Other than that, the smartwatch also has 90 sport modes, which will provide access to algorithms meant for specific activities. This includes modes for walking, running, cycling — both indoors and outdoors — and other activities like spinning, basketball, yoga, rowing, hiking, elliptical, cricket, strength training and free workouts. It will also be able to record daily and weekly exercise durations and calorie consumption levels.

Further, the touchscreen on the device has 323 ppi pixel density, similar to most smartwatches in this price range. It does a peak of 600 nits brightness and has 30 fps refresh rate, though that spec isn’t very important for a smartwatch. Realme also said that the display will work well outdoors, and under the sun.

The DIZO Watch also has Live Watch Faces, which are similar to live wallpapers on Android smartphones. These will bring dynamic dial backgrounds and users will be able to customise them according to their needs. Realme says the DIZO Watch will have over 60 watch dials, and will fit the colour preference of both men and women. Users will also be able to personalise the dial using photos that they’ve clicked using their phones, similar to what Apple allows on the Apple Watch.

Lastly, the watch has a 315 mAh battery, which Realme claims will provide enough charge for 12 days at a time. The Watch comes with a magnetic charging base and uses Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. The DIZO Watch is priced at Rs. 3,499 and will be sold on Flipkart and Realme’s own website.
