OnePlus might take on Redmi TVs with the upcoming U1S Series!

Yogesh claims that the upcoming OnePlus U1S series will compete against the Redmi Smart TVs that launched recently in the country. He says that the upcoming OnePlus TVs will cost 2-3k more compared to the Redmi X series smart TVs. This means that the upcoming OnePlus U1S 50-inch model could be under Rs. 36,999, 55-inch could be under Rs. 42,999, and the 65-inch around Rs. 59,999. Readers must note that these are not the exact prices, and the final pricing could be a couple of thousands more or less.

Yogesh also reveals that these upcoming OnePlus smart TVs will pack a MediaTek processor under the hood. These will have 2GB RAM, and 16GB onboard storage. The upcoming OnePlus TVs will offer about 95% screen-to-body ratio.

We already know that these upcoming TVs will have 4K resolution with HDR 10+, HLG, and MEMC support. Yogesh tells us that these TVs will use DLED (direct LED) panels with a 60Hz refresh rate, 300 nits brightness, 1.07 billion colors, 93% DCI-P3 color gamut, and ΔE<2 color accuracy. The upcoming OnePlus TVs will also have a blue light mode, along with a new Live TV section in OxygenOS TV that OnePlus silently introduced with the OnePlus TV 40 Y1.

OnePlus might also bundle a plug-n-play webcam for the video calls with the 65-inch model. The webcam will offer fixed focus, a USB Type-C port, and a physical camera shutter. While the launch date is yet to be revealed, OnePlus is said to unveil the U1S series TVs in India in the next 4-6 weeks. What do you think of the upcoming OnePlus U1S series smart TVs?
