Vivo is actively launching smartphones in the Y-series. The company in December introduced two smartphones, the Vivo Y51 and Vivo Y20A phones in India, which were targeted at the budget segment. Now, MySmartPrice has learnt from its retail sources that Vivo is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in the Y-series for the Indian market. The upcoming smartphone will be known as the Vivo Y51a (2021). Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming Vivo Y51a smartphone.

Vivo Y51a (2021) to Launch in India soon

As per our retail sources, the upcoming Vivo Y51a (2021) will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. Interestingly, the company has already introduced the Vivo Y51 in India in December last year. The handset comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. This means that the Y51a will be a slightly toned-down version of the Vivo Y51. That said, there is no information available about its price and specifications at the time of writing. However, we should hear more about the upcoming device in the coming days. So, till then stay tuned with us.

Meanwhile, the company recently introduced the Vivo Y51 in India. The handset comes with a price tag of Rs 17,999. The phone features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with 2408 x 1080 pixel resolution. It comes with a triple-camera setup with a combination of 48MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP tertiary sensor. On the front, you get a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling. It comes with 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The brand also unveiled Vivo Y20A smartphone for Rs 11,490. The handset comes with a 6.51-inch Halo iView display along with 5,000mah battery. It also features a triple-camera setup with 13MP primary lens, 2MP bokeh effect, and super macro lens. It also features an 8MP selfie camera. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and the phone runs on Android 10.
