Google Pixel 8 series is expected to launch later this year. The company will likely cast two premium smartphones in the upcoming Pixel 8 series. There will be the Pixel 8 5G as the baseline flagship, on top of which will be the Pixel 8 Pro. Google has not confirmed any details about the Pixel 8 series. Unlike last year, the company did not preview its upcoming flagship phones at Google I/O 2023. However, this has not stopped the rumour mill from churning out new leaks. The latest development leaks the key specifications of the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
Tipster Yogesh Brar has listed the key specifications and features of the upcoming top-end Pixel phone. The tipster also revealed the launch timeline of the Pixel 8 Pro. Let’s look at the Google Pixel 8 Pro specifications, features and other details leaked before the launch.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro will likely launch later this year in India. A new leak claims the upcoming Google flagship smartphone will launch in October. Brar did not reveal the exact launch date of the Pixel 8 series. However, the leaked timeline is in line with previous Pixel flagship series phone launches.
Brar also listed the key specifications of the Pixel 8 Pro. The top-of-the-line Android smartphone from Google’s stable will feature the company’s custom-developed Tensor G3 SoC. It will also come with a Titan security chip inside. Brar claims the Pixel 8 Pro will debut with 12GB of RAM. There will be 128GB and 256GB storage options. Hopefully, Google features the latest LPDDR5X RAM along with UFS 4.0 storage.

On the front, the Pixel 8 Pro is said to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display. It will support LTPO tech and offer refresh rate support up to 120Hz. The screen will also offer a QHD+ resolution.
Pixel 8 Pro will continue to sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The device is said to feature a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation support. Brar further added that the Pixel 8 Pro will feature a 64MP ultra-wide camera sensor and a 48MP telephoto camera on the back. A recent report claimed that the Pixel 8 series will feature the Samsung GN2 sensor for the primary camera. The ultra-wide camera will feature a Sony IMX787 with a 0.49x zoom ratio, whereas the telephoto camera will be a 48MP Samsung GN5 sensor and offer 5x optical zoom.

For selfies, there will be an 11MP Samsung JN1 sensor. The Pixel 8 Pro is said to pack a 4950mAh battery. According to the leaked details, it will offer marginally faster 27W wired fast charging support. According to a leaked video, the Pixel 8 Pro will also feature a temperature sensor on the back.
