Haier is one of the leading global brands in home appliances. The company has now launched a new fully automatic washing machine in India, with a front load design. The model is a part of Haier’s combi series that offers both washing and drying functionalities.
Haier’s latest washing machine comes with a 5-star rating for power saving. The company has also introduced a new motor technology that generates less noise and vibrations.
Haier Washer and Dryer Combi Washing Machine: Price and Availability
The Haier Washer and Dryer Combi Series washing machine is priced at Rs 84,990 in India. It is available in a single-colour variant, Dark Jade Silver. As an introductory offer, the company is selling this machine at a 50% discount with a price tag of Rs 42,990.
The washing machine is available for purchase on Croma’s website. Haier will soon expand its availability across other online platforms and retain chains across India.
Haier Washer and Dryer Combi Washing Machine: Features
Haier’s latest washing machine in the country is a fully automatic model. It comes with a metal build and has a front-load design. The machine features a tempered glass door with a washing capacity of 10.5kg and a drying capacity of 7kg.
The drum size of the washing machine is 525mm. Internally, the machine uses a dual spray technology for cleaning clothes. It offers over 12 washing modes that can be controlled using the buttons, or by using the HaiSmart app. The machine uses WiFi connectivity which allows users to control and schedule washing remotely.
Haier says that its combi washing machine features an industry-first Direct Motion Motor. This motor produces minimal vibration and can function with noise levels as low as 53 dB. The motor has a maximum speed of 1400rpm and is rated 5-star for power saving.
Haier is offering a 20-year warranty on the motor of its combi washing machine. Other parts of the machine carry a regular 5-year warranty.
The machine also offers Sensor Dry and I-Fresh functions that optimize the washing and drying functions. The company says that special sensors are installed in the machine that prevents clothes from over-drying. It also implements an Anti-Bacterial Technology to eliminate bacteria and mites from clothes.
Haier’s Combi washing machine comes with a compact design and has dimensions of 59.49 cm x 53.7 cm x 84.99 cm. The weight of the machine is 74kg. Haier says that its new washing machine is ideal for families with 6-8 members.
NS Satish, President of Haier India Appliances, recently said in an interview with PTI that the company is investing over Rs 1500 crores to expand its manufacturing facility in Greater Noida. Haier will manufacture products here for the Indian market and is also looking to export them to nearby regions of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Haier is also aiming for a 33% growth in India in the upcoming year.
