HP has introduced its new Envy x360 15 laptops in India. The new HP laptops feature an OLED display and are aimed at catering to the needs of content creators who want a large display and smooth performance. The new Envy x360 15 series is said to be an IMAX Enhanced-certified PC — a first, according to HP — to deliver an immersive IMAX-quality experience for visuals and audio.

HP Envy x360 15 series: Price in India and Specifications

HP Envy x360 15 series has been launched in India with multiple configurations. The creator-focused laptop series has a starting price of Rs 78,999 in India. They will be available for purchase via the HP online store and HP world stores.

As mentioned above, the new Envy x360 15 series come with 13th Gen Intel and AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. The Intel variant of the laptop has up to Core i7 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics. The laptop is also offered with AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 (Ryzen 7000 series) processors with AMD Radeon graphics.

The laptops feature up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory. There is a 15.6-inch OLED touch display, which is said to be EyeSafe-certified and claimed to offer more screen real estate with an 88 per cent screen-to-body ratio. One of the highlight features of the Envy x360 15 series is that the display is IMAX Enhanced-certified. It claims to offer an exclusive Expanded Aspect ratio on select movies and sequences. There is also support for the IMAX theatrical sound mix, which uses a special variant of DTS:X technology to deliver a fully immersive spatial audio experience. For enhanced creativity, users can also connect their laptop to up to 3 external 4K displays.

The laptops offer touch and stylus support, with the latter bundled inside the box of select SKUs. HP also stated that its new Envy laptops come with AI Image Signal Processor (ISP) tech to ensure the security of content by automatically locking the device when the user walks away and promptly awakening it upon approach. There is also a 5MP camera wand IR face recognition for secure login. For those who want that extra privacy, the laptop features a manual camera shutter that turns off the laptop’s camera.

The Envy x360 15 series is claimed to offer up to 15 hours of battery life. You also get support for HP Fast Charge, which claims to offer 50 per cent of battery life in just 30 minutes. The laptop also offers support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. It also offers dual speakers custom-tuned by Bang & Olufsen. The laptop has multiple ports, including USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an SD card slot.
