Huawei New 5G Phone with 40W Fast Charging Support Gets 3C Certification

Huawei is gearing up for the launch of its brand new Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro smartphones. Both devices are pegged to be 5G-enabled handsets. Plus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has recently launched the Huawei P40 Lite E smartphone (specifications, features) in Poland. Amongst all this, a new Huawei smartphone has joined the roster today. Huawei CDY-AN00 has today been spotted on the Chinese 3C certification website, which reveals that it will be a 5G smartphone. The certification has also revealed the charging capacity of the device. Take a look.

As seen in the 3C certification image, the Huawei CDY-AN00 will be a 5G-enabled smartphone. Furthermore, the certification tells us that the device will come with up to 40W of fast charging capacity (10VDC, 4A Max). The certification date is from yesterday (March 4, 2020), meaning that it is a relatively fresh smartphone, which is the reason why the moniker of the Huawei CDY-AN00 is still anyone’s guess as of now. So far, we have only this much intel on this mysterious Huawei 5G smartphone, but we can expect to hear more about it in the coming days.

For those unaware, the Huawei P40 smartphone comes with model numbers ANA-AN00 and ANA-TN0 and will sport up to 22.5W fast charging. The Huawei P40 Pro, on the other hand, will come with model numbers ELS-AN00 and ELS-TN00 and will give up to 40W of charging speeds. Both devices are tipped to be powered by the company’s in-house Kirin 910 5G platform. The vanilla Huawei P40 is tipped to feature a dual punch-hole display, with the pill-shaped camera cutout located in the top left corner of the display. Going around the back, the Huawei P40 is said to flaunt a triple rear camera setup, which will be encased in a rectangular module.
