Huawei is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming flagship series of smartphones – the Huawei P40 and the Huawei P40 Pro smartphones. Last week, both the devices were spotted on the TENAA certification website, which gave us some of their key specifications. Now, we are able to spot them on the 3C certification website, which confirms their charging speeds. Let’s have a look at everything we know about the Huawei P40 and the Huawei P40 Pro smartphones so far.
Huawei P40 with 22.5W and Huawei P40 Pro with 40W Fast Charging Support Clears 3C Certification
As seen in the 3C certification images, the Huawei P40 (with the model numbers ANA-AN00 and ANA-TN0) will sport 22.5W of fast charging, while the Pro variant, the Huawei P40 Pro (with the model numbers ELS-AN00 and ELS-TN00) will come with up to 40W of charging capacity. Both the vanilla and the pro variants of the Huawei P40 will come with 5G connectivity.

As far as the rest of the specifications of the devices go, the earlier leaks suggest that the Huawei P40 and the Huawei P40 Pro are likely to be powered by the company’s in-house Kirin 910 5G platform. The vanilla Huawei P40 is tipped to feature a dual punch-hole display, with the pill-shaped camera cutout located in the top left corner of the display. Going around the back, the Huawei P40 is said to flaunt a triple rear camera setup, which will be encased in a rectangular module. The three cameras will likely be comprised of a primary sensor, an ultra-wide camera, and a ToF lens. The Huawei P40 Pro is tipped to sport a curved display around the edges. The punch-hole pill will stay intact, but the rear camera module will feature four cameras (an additional periscopic camera is being tipped to make its way to the pro variant).
