The latest tablet is called Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024 and as the name suggests, it’s the latest addition to the MatePad Pro Series that was launched back in 2019. The latest flagship tablet from the brand comes with flagship specifications like an OLED display with 2K resolution, Kirin 9000S processor, Harmony OS 4, Beidou two-way satellite communications, 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup, 16-megapixel selfie camera, and a lot more. Huawei has launched the MatePad Pro 11 2024 in two variants12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. The price starts at 4,299 Yuan (~Rs 50,200) for the base variant. Huawei has also launched the M-Pencil 3rd generation, Huawei Smart Keyboard, and Huawei MatePad Pro Leather Case.

Interested buyers can pick up the latest tablet and accessories from Huawei Mall, authorized e-commerce, Huawei Experience store, and authorized retailers in China. It is already up for preorders in China starting today and will go on sale from December 8.

The main USP of the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024 is the two-way satellite communication enabled by the Beidou satellite communication system in China. The latest tablet is designed to utilise high-orbit satellites that are positioned up to 36,000 kilometers away without the use of any additional antennas. Huawei has used high-gain algorithms and innovative communication protocols to enable satellite communication on the MatePad Pro 11 2024. Users will be able to send text messages and their location to each other in no network zone using this method.

Additionally, the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024 is also the thinnest 11-inch tablet according to the brand. It weighs just 449 grams and measures just 5.9mm thin, which makes the tablet extremely sleek and lightweight comparatively. Huawei is offering the tablet in four colours – Green, Blue, Black, and White. The tablet features an 11-inch OLED display with WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) screen resolution, 92% screen-to-body ratio, 600 nits brightness, 1.07 billion colours support, and DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Powering the latest tablet is the Kirin 9000S SoC with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The tablet boots Android 14-based HarmonyOS 4 out of the box and is powered by an 8,300mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. Connectivity-wise, the tablet features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB 3.1 Type-C, and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/QZSS. It also comes with a six-speaker setup for audio.

In the camera department, the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024 features a 13-megapixel primary camera backed by an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera on the back.
