HUAWEI P40 Pro Premium Edition Spotted in South Korean Retail Website, Specifications and Renders Leaked

Huawei is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming flagship Huawei P40 series of smartphones. So far, we have received plenty of intel surrounding the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro smartphones. Now, it appears that the Chinese smartphone brand could also launch the Huawei P40 Pro Premium edition alongside the other two that we mentioned above. The Huawei P40 Pro Premium edition has recently been spotted on a South Korean retail website, which gives us a clue about some of its key specifications and features. Take a look.

Huawei P40 Pro Premium Edition: Everything We Know So Far

As seen in the product page image of the device, the Huawei P40 Pro Premium edition device will allegedly sport a 6.7-inch display. The device will make room for a pill-shaped punch-hole camera cutout, which will consist of two cameras, including a 32MP primary lens and a ToF 3D lens. Furthermore, the listing reveals that the Huawei P40 Pro Premium edition device will also be a 5G-enabled handset, just like the other two devices in the lineup. The presence of NFC is also confirmed via the retail store listing. The device will come with support for Qi wireless charging as well.

Moving around on the back of the device, the Huawei P40 Pro Premium edition will make room for five rear cameras, which include a 52MP sensor, a 40MP sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, a 3D ToF lens, and a periscopic camera. The rear of the device also appears to be curved around the edges. The display of the device, as claimed by the retail website, will be a 2K OLED unit, which will come with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3,160 x 1,440 pixel resolution. The pixel count will be a whopping 518 pixels per inch.

Under the hood, the Huawei P40 Pro Premium edition appears to be powered by the company’s in-house 5G chipset, the Kirin 990, which will allegedly be paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. In the software department, the Huawei P40 Pro Premium edition will run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. The Huawei P40 and the Huawei P40 Pro smartphones, on the other hand, are tipped to feature the Kirin 910 chipset instead.

As far as the battery of the device is concerned, the Huawei P40 Pro Premium edition will sport a beefy 5,500mAh battery, which will have support for 50W fast charging (wired) and 27W fast charging (wireless).
