Infinix took it to social media channels to reveal the launch date for the Infinix Hot 20 5G series. The brand has also confirmed that the upcoming Hot 20 5G series smartphones will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in the country. The Infinix Hot 20 5G made its global debut back in October and is available in select markets. The Hot 20 5G happens to be the company’s first 5G-enabled handset under the Hot series. Infinix has confirmed that the Hot 20 5G will support 12 5G bands. The Hot 20 5G might be one of the most affordable 5G-enabled smartphones in India. To those unaware, the Hot series smartphones are usually priced under Rs Rs 12,000 in the Indian market.
Infinix Hot 20 5G: Specifications and Features
The Hot 20 5G flaunts a 120Hz refresh rate IPS LCD display panel that measures 6.6-inch diagonally, supports 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Full HD+ resolution. It supports a 1900:1 contrast ratio and makes room for the selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch.
Under the hood, the Hot 20 5G sports an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. The Dimensity 810 brings with it an integrated Mali G57 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. The smartphone features a microSD card slot and also supports 3GB of virtual RAM. It comes pre-loaded with XOS 10.6 which is based on Android 12.
The Hot 20 5G comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and 18W (7.5V/2.4A) fast charging support. The smartphone relies on a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. It supports various camera features such as Super Night Mode, Portrait Mode, and Eye tracking mode. It offers an 8MP snapper for video calls and selfies.
The Infinix Hot 20 5G comes in three colour options – Space Blue, Blaster Green, and Racing Black. It measures 166.25 × 76.45 × 8.93mm and weighs 204grams. On the security front, it offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is integrated into the power button. The smartphone is priced at €179 (approx Rs 14,000) for 4GB + 128GB configuration, so it might be priced at around Rs 14,000 in the country.
