Infinix has launched its InBook Y4 Max in India as an affordable mid-tier laptop. It comes with the 13th-generation Intel processors, with the top model offering Core i7 as an option. The laptop also promises a battery life of up to 8 hours.

The InBook Y4 Max is a lightweight machine weighing just 1.8kg, with an 18mm thickness. Let’s have a look at the detailed specifications of the laptop.

Infinix InBook Y4 Max: Price and Availability

The Infinix InBook Y4 Max will offer three processor options, core i3, i5, and i7 from Intel’s 13-generation series. The base model with core i3 along with 16GB+512GB storage will be available for purchase at an introductory price of Rs 37,990. The company has not revealed the price for other variants yet.

All models of the Infinix InBook Y4 Max will be sold on Flipkart. The laptop is being offered in two colour options: Silver and Blue.

The Infinix InBook Y4 Max comes with a 16-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD resolution. It has an aspect ratio of 16:10 along with narrow bezels. The panel covers 83% sRGB colour gamut and offers 300 nits of peak brightness. The body of the laptop is made from an aluminium alloy, which has a brushed metal finish.

The InBook Y4 Max is powered by 13th-generation Intel processors. It is available in the following configurations:

  • Intel core i3 1315U, 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD
  • Intel core i5 1335U, 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD
  • Intel core i7 1355U, 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD

The laptop also comes equipped with a power boost button, which provides an 18W power upgrade to the CPU. However, it does not feature a discrete GPU as it only has integrated graphics. The company provides Windows 11 Home Edition pre-installed, but it does not include Microsoft Office.

The Infinix InBook Y4 Max comes with a backlit keyboard. It also gets a multi-touch AG Glass Touchpad. I/O options include one USB-A 3.0 port, one USB-C 3.0 port, one HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop misses out on an ethernet port.

The InBook Y4 Max runs on a 70Wh battery. Infinix says that the laptop can offer a battery life of up to 8 hours. It supports 65W of charging which can charge the laptop from 0-75% in just 60 minutes.

Infinix had also launched the Infinix InBook Y2 Plus in India last month. It comes with 11th-gen Intel processors, which makes the InBook Y2 Plus more affordable than the InBook Y4 Max. Power users can look at the newly launched InBook Y4 Max, whereas students and normal users can also consider its younger sibling as it cuts no corners with its Full HD screen, 8GB RAM, and 512GB SSD storage.
