Infinix is expected to expand the Infinix NOTE 40 series smartphones in the upcoming months. Today, we have spotted the Infinix NOTE 40 5G smartphone in the Google Play Console, Geekbench and FCC databases, and BIS and Wi-Fi alliance certifications.
Infinix NOTE 40 5G Specifications Revealed Through Certifications
The Google Play Console database and other certifications, including BIS, confirm that Infinix will equip the smartphone with the X6852 model number. The Note 40 5G will be powered by the MediaTek chipset with the MT6855V/AZA codename and Imagination Tech BXM 8-256 GPU.
The codename reveals that Infinix will equip the device with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. The Dimensity 7020 sports two Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz. The chipset will pair with up to 8GB of RAM, and the device will run on Android 14 out of the box.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the device scores 802 points in single-core and 2032 points in multi-core tests. The listing also reaffirms that the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC pairs with up to 8GB of RAM. As per the Google Play Console database, the device will sport a display with a resolution of 2436 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 480 PPI.
The Wi-Fi Alliance certification reveals support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi. The FCC certification reveals that Infinix will equip the device with a 4,900mAh rated battery with the BL-490X model number and 5,000mAh typical value.
The render revealed through the database reveals a design similar to the other smartphones in the Infinix Note 40 series lineup. Infinix will equip the device with a triple camera setup on the rear. The database also confirms the support for NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, FM receivers, and more, apart from dual-band Wi-Fi.
