Infinix is gearing up for the launch of the Infinix Smart 8 smartphone. The upcoming Smart 8 was spotted on the Geekbench website a couple of days back. The benchmark listing confirmed that the device will pack Unisoc T606 SoC and 3GB of RAM. The device also received the TDRA as well as FCC certification. Now, in a recent development, the Infinix Smart 8 has appeared on the Google Play Console. The listing reveals the key specifications as well as renders of the device ahead of the official launch.
Infinix Smart 8 Will Be Powered By Unisoc T606 SoC
If we have a look at the render, we can see that the Infinix Smart 8 will have a punch-hole display. The power and volume keys will be located on the right edge of the device. As far as the specifications go, the handset will have an HD+ 720 × 1612 pixel resolution. The device will be powered by Unisoc T606 chipset as revealed by the Google Play Console listing. The smartphone will pack 3GB of RAM and it will boot Android 13 out of the box.
The previously leaked details via FCC certification suggest that a 5,000mAh battery will be equipped with the device which will support 10W fast charging. Dimensions-wise, the handset will measure 164 × 76 × 9mm. The smartphone will have a 4G LTE support.
At present, we don’t have any details as to when the launch of the Smart 8 will be happening. However, considering that the device has appeared on Geekbench, FCC certification, and Google Play Console now, we expect it to launch in the coming few weeks.
The upcoming Infinix Smart 8 will arrive as a successor to the Infinix Smart 7. To recall, the Infinix Smart 7 features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and 500 nits brightness. The device is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A1 processor which is coupled with IMG8322 GPU. The device packs up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs Android 12 out of the box XOS 12 skin on top.
The smartphone features a 13MP primary camera, an AI lens, and a 5MP front-facing camera. The other key specifications which the device offers include a 6,000mAh battery, 10W charging, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
