Infinix is gearing up to expand its SMART 8 lineup. Recently, the company unveiled its SMART 8HD smartphone in India. Today, we spotted the SMART 8 Plus on the Google Play Console database with the X6526 model number.
The listing on the Google database gives a glimpse at the upcoming smartphone’s front design and key specifications. It will have 4GB of RAM and will most likely run on the Android 13 Go edition based XOS 13 out of the box, just like the recently launched SMART 8 and 8HD. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will have a 720×1612 pixels resolution with 320 dpi and draw power from the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.
As we can see in the image above, the Smart 8 Plus will have a punch-hole camera on the front and chunky bezels at the bottom, which is the case with almost all budget smartphones. Apart from that, we don’t have much information about the device, but we expect to get more details in the coming days.

- Display: The Infinix Smart 8HD presents a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate punch-hole and 500 Nits peak brightness. Additionally, it introduces a dynamic notch-like feature called the ‘Magic Ring.’
- Chipset: Internally, it is driven by the UniSOC T606 processor.
- RAM and Storage: The device accommodates up to 6GB RAM paired with 64GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable up to 2TB with a microSD card.
- OS: The smartphone operates on the Android 13 Go-based XOS 13 version out of the box.
- Cameras: In the optics department, the Infinix Smart 8HD houses a 13MP dual AI camera with Quad LED Ring Flash. For selfies, it incorporates an 8MP front-facing camera with an LED flash.
- Battery: Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery featuring Power Marathon technology for extended usage.
- Biometric Security: To secure the device, it utilises Face unlock and a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
