iQOO will launch the iOO 8 series in China on August 17. The company will launch two new phones as its flagship offering for the second half of 2021. These include the standard iQOO 8 and a “Pro” model. Ahead of the launch, the company has started teasing some of the key details of the upcoming iQOO flagship smartphones. The latest teaser confirms the Pro model’s camera module details. It confirms that the iQOO 8 Pro will have a triple-camera setup on the back. iQOO 8 Pro camera specs confirmed

iQOO 8 Pro camera specifications have been teased. The flagship smartphone launches alongside the vanilla iQOO 8 on August 17. Both iQOO phones are expected to launch in India later this year following the launch in China. The company has now started teasing more details of the device. The latest teaser confirms that the Pro model will feature a triple-camera system with VIS five-axis anti-shake micro-cloud gimbal stabilisation. It will have a 50MP main camera and a 48MP ultrawide camera sensor. The triple-camera setup will be completed by a 16MP mid-focus lens with a focal length of 14-60mm.

Previously, the company confirmed that the Pro model will draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. It will include 12GB of RAM and also feature 4GB of extended RAM support. The device will also support 120W fast charging.

At the front is a curved 2K display with a hole-punch cutout. It was previously confirmed that the Samsung E5 AMOLED display on the Pro model will come with LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) tech for a variable refresh rate support that switches between 1Hz and 120Hz depending on the on-screen content. The display size remains unknown at the moment.
