Vivo sub-brand iQOO is gearing up for the launch of its new flagship phones. The iQOO 8 series is confirmed to debut in China on August 17. The company will launch two flagship phones – iQOO 8 and its Pro model. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed some key details of the upcoming iQOO phones. The phones are confirmed to draw power from a powerful Snapdragon 888+ SoC. Other specs of the devices have also been confirmed. Meanwhile, the iQOO 8 series is listed on Geekbench ahead of the launch. It reveals some key details of the device. Let’s take a look at the iQOO 8 series specs, features and other details.

iQOO 8 series listed on Geekbench

iQOO 8 series debuts on August 17 in China. Ahead of the launch, one of the two iQOO flagship phones is listed on Geekbench. The listing reveals the model number and the key performance unit details of the phone. iQOO’s new flagship phone has the model number V2141A. It is unclear at the moment whether this device is the standard iQOO 8 or the Pro model. We can expect more clarity in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the variant listed on Geekbench has 8GB of RAM. It draws power from a Snapdragon 888+ SoC. The processor clocked at 3.0GHz is paired with Adreno 660 GPU. It runs Android 11 out of the box. The phone will have a layer of OriginOS or Funtouch OS 11, depending on the region. The listing further reveals that the iQOO phone scored 1133 and 3696 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.

Other details of the phone have been confirmed already. The device will also include 12GB of RAM and also feature 4GB of extended RAM support. The phone will come with 120W wired fast charging support. The Pro model will support 50W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

iQOO has also confirmed the Pro model’s camera specs. It will have a triple-camera setup with VIS five-axis anti-shake micro-cloud gimbal stabilisation. The device will have a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera sensor and a 16MP mid-focus lens with a focal length of 14-60mm.
