More smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will launch starting next week in China. The Xiaomi 12 series is set to debut on December 28, whereas the Realme GT 2 Pro will launch on January 4. Another smartphone company, which will launch its flagship smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip soon is iQOO. The company is expected to launch its premium smartphones in February or March 2022 in China. Ahead of the official launch, the key specs have started to surface on the web. The latest one comes from tipster Digital Chat Station, who has listed the specifications of iQOO 9. Let’s take a look at the iQOO 9 specifications, features and other leaked details.

iQOO 9 specifications tipped

iQOO 9 series is expected to launch in Q1 of 2022. The company is likely to launch two new devices, the iQOO 9 and 9 Pro. Ahead of the official launch date confirmation, tipster DCS has listed the iQOO 9 specs. The tipster (via GizmoChina) notes that the iQOO premium smartphone will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED E5 display made by Samsung. It will have a Full HD+ resolution. While the tipster did not reveal any details of the Pro model, it is expected to feature a 2K display like the iQOO 8 Pro.

Furthermore, the vanilla iQOO 9 will come with a 4,650 mAh battery under the hood. It will support  120W fast charging out of the box. In terms of the camera, the vanilla model will feature the company’s micro-gimbal OIS support. It will also feature a Samsung GN5 50-megapixel primary camera with a sensor size of 1/1.5-inch.

The Pro model will have a larger 4700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support as well. Both devices will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 under the hood. They are also likely to come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. More details should surface in the coming days.
