iQOO Z9x 5G Global Variant Spotted on NBTC Certification; Could Debut Soon

iQOO is launching the iQOO Z9 series this week in China. Ahead of the iQOO Z9 series China launch, the iQOO Z9x 5G global variant has been spotted on the NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) certification website.

iQOO Z9x 5G: All You Need to Know

The upcoming iQOO Z9x 5G has appeared with the model number I2219 on the NBTC certification. The smartphone acquired Bureau of Indian Standard certification, alongside the Vivo T3x. The iQOO Z9x 5G’s (model number I2219) appearance on India’s BIS certification suggests that it could be the Indian variant of the device.

The upcoming Z-series handset has obtained Bluetooth SIG, TKDN, and SDPPI certifications in the past, so its launch seems imminent. Apart from the model number, not much is known about the iQOO Z9x 5G’s global variant.

iQOO is also expected to launch the iQOO Z9x and iQOO Z9 in Malaysia. The iQOO Z9x 5G Malaysian variant is confirmed to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The company has also confirmed that the handset will feature a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

The iQOO Z9x 5G will offer a 120Hz display with 1000nits HBM brightness. It will feature a dual-rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary shooter. The smartphone will come with 128GB of storage and a 300% boosted volume feature. It will retail in Northern Green and Mystic Black colour options in Malaysia.

The iQOO Z9x 5G could be a rebranded version of the Vivo T3x 5G, which debuted in India last week. We shall get more details on the upcoming iQOO Z-series phone, so, stay tuned.
