The iQOO Neo 9 and the iQOO Pad Air has appeared on the Google Play Supported device list.
The iQOO Neo 9 is supposed to feature a 6.78-inch display, a 50MP triple-camera setup, and a 16MP selfie camera.
The iQOO Neo Pad Air could be announced next year in China.
iQOO will be introducing the iQOO Neo 9 series smartphones in China this month. The upcoming iQOO Neo 9 lineup is supposed to include two devices namely the iQOO Neo 9 and the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. Ahead of the official launch, the vanilla iQOO Neo 9 smartphone was spotted on 3C certification website two days back. The certification listing revealed that the device will be offering 120W fast charging support. Apart from the 3C certification, tipster Digital Chat Station also revealed the possible specifications of the device. Now, in a recent development, the iQOO Neo 9 as well as the iQOO Pad Air has appeared on the Google Play Supported device list ahead of launch.
iQOO Neo 9 Launch Seems Imminent
The Google Play-supported device list reveals the moniker as iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Pad Air. Additionally, these devices are listed with model numbers as V2338A and iPA2451 respectively. As far as the specifications of the iQOO Neo 9 go, the device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch display which could offer a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The smartphone is expected to pack up to 12GB/16GB of RAM. We can expect the device to boot Android 14 out of the box.
As far as the rest of the key features of the smartphone go, it might boast a 50MP triple-camera setup and a 16MP selfie camera. A 5,160mAh battery is likely to be equipped with the device which will support 120W fast charging as revealed by the 3C certification.
At present, iQOO has not revealed the launch date of the iQOO Neo 9 series for the Chinese market. However, considering that the devices in the lineup have started getting few certifications lately, we can expect the company to soon announce the launch date of the iQOO Neo 9 lineup.
As for the iQOO Pad Air, the specifications of this upcoming tablet remain unknown currently. Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station had revealed the specifications of an unknown iQOO tablet on Weibo, which we suspect could be of the iQOO Pad Air. As per the tipster, the upcoming iQOO tablet will feature an 8.8-inch display. Under the hood, this upcoming tablet is rumoured to feature a Dimensity 9300 SoC. The tipster also had revealed that iQOO could announce this tablet after Vivo Pad 3 in the second quarter of 2024.
It also might be possible that the iQOO Pad Air could arrive as a rebrand of the Vivo Pad Air since the codename (DPD2305) of both these tablets appears to be the same. If this is the case, the iQOO Pad Air could feature an 11.5-inch IPS LCD display, a Snapdragon 870 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, 5MP selfie camera, and an 8,500mAh battery.
