iQOO has been teasing the launch of the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 smartphones in China. The upcoming Neo 9 series will include iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro smartphones. The 3C certification divulges the fast charging support and 5G connectivity of the upcoming iQOO smartphones.
iQOO confirmed that the forthcoming Neo series smartphones will debut in China in December. Digital, a well-known tipster on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, previously tipped the complete specifications of the Neo 9 Pro smartphone. The tipster has revealed the specifications (via) of the vanilla Neo 9 smartphone in a new post on Weibo. The upcoming Neo 9 Pro smartphone has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmark ahead of its debut.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro AnTuTu Listing
The AnTuTu listing of the device confirms the moniker of the upcoming Neo series smartphone. The smartphone has scored 23,34,911 points in the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform. The overall score is divided among CPU, GPU, memory, and UX tests as 5,24,383, 9,84,162, 4,83,234, and 3,43,132. iQOO will equip the smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, which Vivo recently debuted with X100 series smartphones.
The upcoming Neo 9 Pro smartphone has managed to score over 90,000 points in comparison to the Vivo X100 smartphone. The 3C certification of the device revealed the support for 120W wired fast charging tech. iQOO is likely to equip the device with a 5160mAh battery to provide an all-day battery life. The chipset will pair with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of storage in China.
iQOO Neo 9 Specifications
iQOO will equip the vanilla model with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM. iQOO will use a plastic middle frame for the upcoming vanilla Neo smartphone. The 1.5K resolution AMOLED display will also sport an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The upcoming smartphones will run on Origin OS 4 based on Android 14 out of the box. iQOO will ship the smartphone with dual rear cameras, including a 50MP primary Sony IMX 920 sensor. The primary sensor will be equipped with Optical Image Stabilisation and paired with an 8MP ultrawide sensor. iQOO will also equip the device with a similar 5160mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging tech.
