iQOO has finally launched its entry-level iQOO U1X smartphone in China. The iQOO U1X was listed on the Chinese e-commerce website jd.com a little while ago, which gave us a working clue as to what to expect from the device. Today, the brand has finally made the device official. Take a look at the price, full specifications, and features of the newly launched iQOO U1X smartphone and find out what it has in store for us.

iQOO U1X starts at CNY 899 in China

The iQOO U1X has been launched in three memory variants in China – one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is priced at CNY 899, one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is priced at CNY 999, and the top variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is priced at 1,199. There are two color variants to choose from – Black and Silver.

iQOO U1X: Specifications and features

Starting with the display of the device, the iQOO U1X sports a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels, a pixel density of 269ppi, and a screen-to-body ratio of 89%. The device comes with a waterdrop notch display, which makes room for an 8MP selfie snapper. The device measures 164.41mm×76.32mm×8.41mm and weighs in at 192.3 grams.

Moving around the rear of the device, the iQOO U1X features a triple rear camera setup, which consists of a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP tertiary camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner located on the right side of the device, right underneath the volume up and down buttons. Speaking of buttons and ports, the iQOO U1X does feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Under the hood, the iQOO U1X is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, which is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage (UFS 2.1). Coming to the battery of the device, the iQOO U1X makes room for a large 5,000mAh battery, which has scope for up to 18W fast charging over a microUSB charging port. In terms of OS, the iQOO U1X boots Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house iQOO UI skin baked on top of it.
