Update: The company has now confirmed that the new iQOO Z7 5G has become the highest selling smartphone in the Rs 20,000-15,000 category on Amazon, that too only after the first day of sale. With prices beginning Rs 18,999 for 6GB + 128GB vartiant and Rs 19,999 for 8GB + 128GB variant, the iQOO Z7 5G is available for purchase on Amazon and iQOO’s own e-store in two colour options Norway Blue and Pacific Night.

The iQOO Z7 5G will come in two variants – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The iQOO Z7 5G 6GB + 128GB variant will carry a price of Rs 18,999 as revealed through an Amazon banner. Wherein, the 8GB + 128GB configuration variant will be priced at Rs 19,999.
iQOO is partnering with HDFC Bank and SBI Bank to offer a flat Rs 1500 discount on Debit Card and Credit Card transactions on Amazon. Those buying the iQOO Z7 from iQOO Store will be able to avail the same discount on HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank Credit and Debit Card transactions. iQOO will also provide a colour earphones as a freebie to those who purchase iQOO Z7 5G through iQOO Store.
With the bank discount, the iQOO Z7 5G base variant’s effective price will come down to Rs 17,499. The company will also offer up to 3 months no cost EMI on the purchase of the iQOO Z7 5G. It will be available for purchase starting at 1:00 PM, March 21 exclusively via Amazon.
iQOO Z7 5G: Specifications and Features
Ahead of the launch, iQOO has confirmed some of the key specifications of the upcoming Z-series smartphone. The iQOO Z7 5G Indian variant will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. The Dimensity 920 is fabricated on a 6nm manufacturing process and brings with it an integrated Mali G68 GPU. This is the same processor that powers the Xiaomi 11i, Realme 9 Pro+, and Vivo V23.
The iQOO Z7 5G is also confirmed to feature a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1300nits peak brightness. The display panel is HDR10+ certified and will accommodate the selfie shooter insider a waterdrop notch. On the security front, the handset will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The iQOO Z7 5G will be equipped with a dual-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the upcoming Z-series smartphone will be a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor with optical image stabilisation.
