iQOO, back in August, introduced the iQOO Z8 series in the Chinese market. The iQOO Z8 series in China consists of the iQOO Z8 5G and the iQOO Z8x 5G. Now, it appears that iQOO is already working on the next iteration of the Z-series – the iQOO Z9 series. In the latest development, the design renders of the upcoming iQOO Z9 series smartphones have surfaced on Chinese micro-blogging site – Weibo, courtesy of user Fixed Focus Digital.
The user posted the renders of two upcoming iQOO handsets, which are alleged iQOO Z9 series smartphones. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The iQOO Z9 series renders reveal a dual-rear camera setup. Alongside the dual-cameras ‘OIS ASPHERICAL‘ text can also be seen in the leaked renders. One of these handsets has two circular camera modules, while the other has two squircle camera modules.
The iQOO Z9 series handsets might offer a rear panel with a gradient design, which turns from a shade of light pink to aqua blue. The rear panel of the device features a vertical strip design. Apart from this, there is nothing else that the leaked renders reveal about the upcoming Z-series smartphones.
The iQOO Z9 series will arrive as a successor to the iQOO Z8 series. The iQOO Z8 series handsets made their debut back in August and feature 120Hz LCD display. The iQOO Z8 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor. The iQOO Z8x sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
The iQOO Z8 comes equipped with 5000mAh battery unit with 120W fast charging support. Whereas, the iQOO Z8x is fuelled by a 6000mAh battery unit and supports 44W fast charging.
