Transsion Holdings subbrand itel is reportedly planning to launch a budget-oriented 5G smartphone soon in India. As per the exclusive report published by 91Mobiles, the itel P55 5G could be the first 5G smartphone from itel. The device is tipped to launch in India for under Rs 10,000 as per the report. The exact pricing of the smartphone is yet to be confirmed though. As for the launch go, the smartphone might go official in India by the end of September.

itel P55 5G Will Feature Dual-Camera Setup

91Mobiles also has revealed the teaser image which manifests the design of the itel P55 5G. The teaser discloses that the device will have curved edges and a dual-camera setup. The power and volume keys will be placed on the right edge of the device. The other specifications of the smartphone such as its display size, camera as well as RAM And storage configuration details remain unknown currently. Considering that the smartphone is slated to launch by the end of this month, we can expect the company to release more details of the device soon.

In a piece of related news, itel unveiled the itel P40+ and the itel A60s smartphones in India back in July. The itel P40+ is priced at Rs 8,099, whereas the itel A60s costs Rs 6,299. The prior features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset which is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone features a 13MP dual-camera setup and an 8MP selfie camera. The whole package draws power from a 7,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. The device also has security features such as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock support.

On the other hand, the itel A60s flaunts a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution. The device is powered by Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC. The other key features which the itel A60s offer includes an 8MP dual-camera setup, a 5MP selfie camera, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 5,000mAh battery, and 10W fast charging. The smartphone comes in Shadow Black, Moonlit Violet, and Glacier Green colour options.
