The digital rights to the police procedural, helmed by Roby Varghese Raj, have been acquired by Disney+ Hotstar for the most amount it has ever paid for a Malayalam film. And now they have announced the release date of the movie.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Sony Liv had bought the rights to the digital premiere of Mammootty’s Kannur Squad, but according to the latest information, Disney+ Hotstar is the chosen destination for the movie’s release. Disney+ Hotstar has announced the release date of the movie to be November 17th. As was anticipated, Mammooty’s movie is being released on OTT after the mandatory 41-day rules set forth by the Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK). Viewers will need to have a subscription to the digital giant to watch the movie.
