Microsoft Copilot Plus PCs: Complete List of Compatible Laptops from Dell, HP, Lenovo, And More

Microsoft recently announced a new category of AI-enhanced computers called Copilot+ PCs with next-gen AI capabilities and experiences. These new Windows laptops will come with more powerful processors and Neural Processing Units (NPU) designed for tasks related to AI workload.

The company also launched its new Surface and Surface Pro laptops with Copilot+ and has joined hands with top laptop brands to launch Copilot+ PCs. So, let’s take a look at PCs that will support this feature.

Complete List of All PCs Launching with Microsoft’s Copilot Plus

The new Copilot Plus PCs will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite processors and include Microsoft Copilot AI enhancements in Windows 11. These PCs are designed to run some of the AI-related tasks coming to Windows 11. Keep in mind these features will not roll out to existing PCs.

The list of AI features announced by Microsoft includes Recall, Live Captions, Cocreator, and more. While some of these laptops have already been launched and are available for preorder, most will go on sale on June 18 with a starting price of $999 (~Rs 83,200).

Microsoft Surface

Microsoft was the first brand to launch Copilot Plus laptops in its Surface series. The company has announced Surface Pro 11th Edition and Surface Laptop 7th Edition with Copilot Plus. These laptops start at $999 (~Rs 83,300) and will be available worldwide on June 18 through the Microsoft e-Store and popular online and offline retailers.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Copilot+

The new Surface Pro and Surface laptop will be available in two display sizes: 13.8-inch and 15-inch with touch. Depending on the variant, they will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus or Snapdragon X Elite. Other features include Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB removable SSD, and more.

Dell

Dell has announced a slew of Copilot Plus PCs including Dell XPS 13, Inspiron 14 Plus, Inspiron 14, Latitude 7455, and Latitude 5455. The Dell XPS 13 is the flagship model, powered by the Snapdragon X Elite SoC. The Dell XPS and Inspiron models with Copilot Plus are already up for pre-orders starting at $1,099 (~Rs 91,500). The company is yet to announce the availability and price of Latitude models.

The Dell Inspiron 14 and 14 Plus are powered by the Snapdragon X Plus processor. On the other hand, the Dell Latitude 7455 and Latitude 5455 will be offered in two configurations—Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus. These laptops feature a 14-inch display with a QHD+ screen resolution, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.

HP

HP is also releasing Copilot+ laptops under its OmniBook and EliteBook series. The company has announced that the new OmniBook X AI and EliteBook Ultra AI laptops will start shipping worldwide in June. Both laptops will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processors to enable Windows 11 AI enhancements.

The HP OmniBook X and EliteBook Ultra Copilot Plus laptops feature 14-inch touchscreen displays. As for RAM and storage, these laptops come with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The OmniBook X is intended for professionals and content creators, whereas the EliteBook Ultra is meant for business users.

Lenovo

Like HP, Lenovo has also launched two new Copilot Plus laptops in the US. These are Yoga Slim 7x and Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, which arrived as the first next-generation Copilot+ Lenovo PCs powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor. Both laptops will go on sale in June 2024 and start at $1,199 (~Rs 99,900).

The Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 feature a Qualcomm Oryon CPU, a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, and a Qualcomm Adreno GPU. The laptops sport the fastest AI NPU, processing up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). Other features include up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 2242 M.2 storage, up to 70Wh battery, FHD + IR MIPI camera, and more.

Samsung

Samsung has debuted its Copilot+ laptop, the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge. It is priced at $1,349.99 (~Rs 1,12,400) and $1,449.99 (~Rs 1,20,800) for the 14-inch and 16-inch models, respectively. Samsung has already commenced pre-bookings, and it will be shipped to buyers starting June 18.

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge

The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite SoC built for Galaxy AI and features a dedicated AI key for one-click access to the AI assistant. Other impressive features include a 3K, 120Hz dynamic AMOLED display, Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of NVMe SSD, etc.

ASUS

ASUS launched its first next-gen ASUS Windows Copilot+ PC called Vivobook S 15. It’s a powerful laptop with a stunning 3K, 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display, Harman Kardon-certified audio, and Snapdragon X Elite with built-in Qualcomm Hexagon NPU in a sleek 14.7 mm-thin, 1.42 kg-light body.

Vivobook S 15 is aimed at professionals but will also appeal to some gamers. With features like a single-zone RGB backlit keyboard, dedicated Copilot key, Wi-Fi 7, powerful thermal management, and up to 18 hours of battery backup, the Vivobook S 15 is one of the best Copilot Plus PCs.

Acer

Last but not least, the Acer Swift 14 AI is the company’s debut Copilot Plus PC. Acer has launched its Copilot Plus PC with a starting price of for $1,099 (~Rs 91,500). It will start shipping to North America and EMEA countries starting June 2024.

Acer is offering the Swift 14 AI in two variants with Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processors. Like other Copilot Plus PCs, the Swift 14 AI also comes with a dedicated Microsoft Copilot Key to access the popular AI features, including Recall, Cocreator, Live Captions, and more. Other features include a 14.5-inch WQXGA display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, u to 32 GB dual-channel LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD, Wi-Fi 7, etc.
