Lava has started sharing teasers for the launch of the Lava O2 smartphone in India. The upcoming O series smartphone will debut as a successor to the Lava O1 smartphone launched in October 2023 in the country. The listing of the smartphone has gone live on Amazon, revealing its specifications.
Lava O2 to Debut Soon in India
Lava has yet to reveal the launch date of the smartphone in India. The device will sport a flat display with slim bezels and a centred punch hole cutout to house the selfie camera.

The device’s rear will house a slightly raised dual camera setup with a 50MP primary camera. The power button and the volume rockers will be present on the right side of the device. The bottom will house the speaker grille, USB Type-C port, microphone, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Lava O2 Expected Specifications
The Amazon listing reveals the device will feature a 6.5-inch punch-hole display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The upcoming Lava O2 smartphone will be powered by a UniSoC T616 chipset fabricated on a 12nm process with 4G connectivity.
The chipset will be paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device will sport support for virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB and run on Android 13 out of the box. The listing claims the smartphone will score over 2,50,000 points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform.
The device will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired fast charging tech. The Lava O2 will measure 16.5 x 7.61 x 0.87 cm and weigh 200 grams. The smartphone will debut in a Majestic Purple shade, apart from the teased Green shade. The power button will double up as a fingerprint sensor for security purposes, along with a face unlock.
